Editorial Standards.
Reneka publishes original research, technical guides, and the GEO Field Guide. This page is the standard every published piece runs against. What we cite, how we attribute, and how we correct mistakes.
Real bylines, real authors.
- Every article has a named human author with a byline at the top of the page and a link to their author page.
- Author pages list credentials, role at Reneka, and external profiles (LinkedIn, conference talks, prior published work).
- We do not publish ghost-written or AI-generated articles under a Reneka byline. AI tools assist with research and drafting; the named author writes, edits, and signs off on the final piece.
- Guest contributors, when present, are clearly labeled as such with a guest byline and a separate disclosure of any commercial relationship.
Where claims come from.
- Every statistic includes the source and the year. Where the statistic is from our own research, we name the study and link to the methodology page.
- External sources prefer primary research, peer-reviewed work, government data, or named industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) over secondary blog summaries.
- We update or remove statistics older than 24 months unless the underlying claim is durable.
- Direct quotes from named experts include the speaker's full name, current title, and the venue where the quote was originally published.
How we verify before we publish.
- Every numeric claim is verified against its primary source by a second person before publication. The byline lists the writer; a separate fact-check log is kept internally.
- Claims about specific products, vendors, or competitors are verified against the vendor's own current public materials at the time of publication.
- Claims about AI engine behavior (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) include the date of the test and the prompt used, because answer behavior changes.
How we handle changes.
- Every published article shows a visible Last updated date.
- When we update an article in a way that changes its substance, we note the change at the top in an "Editor's note" block dated the day of the update.
- If a correction is required, we say so explicitly. We do not silently rewrite published claims.
- Send corrections to info@renekadigital.com. Verified corrections are made within five business days.
How we handle conflicts.
- Reneka is paid by clients for services. We disclose any client relationship when we name a vendor, tool, or platform in published work.
- We do not accept payment for inclusion in articles, "best of" lists, or roundups.
- Affiliate links, when used, are labeled inline. Reneka's compensation does not affect placement or rating.
How we use AI in our own work.
We use AI tools for research, summarization, and first-draft assistance. We do not publish AI-generated articles. Every published piece is written, edited, and signed off by the named human author. AI output that informs an article is treated like any other source: verified, attributed where appropriate, and not quoted verbatim without disclosure.
